Interactive calendar · timezone demo

See your week across any timezone.

Interactive weekly calendar with timezone switching capability. Switch between world timezones to see how events adapt to different local times.

I built this to revive a 2024 timezone calendar prototype. The demo uses synthetic events so it can be shared publicly.

About This Project

Concept

Interactive weekly calendar visualisation with timezone switching capability. Events are generated synthetically using a seeded algorithm to demonstrate the calendar interface without requiring any real calendar data.

Features

  • •Switch between multiple world timezones
  • •Week view with hourly resolution
  • •Colour-coded event categories
  • •Seeded synthetic event generation (seed: 2026)
  • •Responsive layout for mobile and desktop

Provenance

I built this to revive a 2024 timezone calendar prototype. The demo uses synthetic events so it can be shared publicly.

What I Learned

Building synthetic event generation taught me about seeded randomness for reproducible demos.
